Description

Seven (7) pounds of farm fresh sapodilla. Two to three fruit per pound.

The smooth brown skin is easily peeled. Discard seeds. Flesh is sweet and often described as having a brown sugar or caramel flavor. Texture is somewhat gritty like a pear. May be eaten fresh. Also an excellent dessert fruit making flavorful sauces, custards, and ice cream.

TRANSIT TIME: 3 days or less

UPS GROUND (included) - Acceptable for the Eastern US and as far west as TX, Eastern CO, Eastern NE, and MN. (See map above) If ground shipping is selected for addresses further west, your order will be canceled.

UPS 3-Day Select - Expedited 3-day shipping is available for all addresses, but REQUIRED for all deliveries to West CO, West NE, IA, SD, ND, MT, WY, NM, UT, NV, ID, OR, or WA to ensure the perishable fruit is delivered in fresh condition.

UPS 2nd Day Air or Next Day Air - Upgraded expedited shipping is available to all addresses

Sorry, no shipments to CA, AZ, or HI as their state regulations do not allow.

Also available for pickup by appointment.

Requires up to 10 days ripen at room temperature (68 degrees or higher). Do not refrigerate until ripe. Fruit will be soft to touch when ready to eat.
